About Me
Over the years I have always cared for children, starting out as a babysitter (which I continue to do), a support worker for children in care, a nursery nurse and Nanny. All of these roles provided me with great professional experience, but after these roles becoming a mother of 4 gave me a greater insight.
Having worked in these fields I committed myself to stay home with them until they were ready for nursery. Being a nanny & mother enabled me to see a difference in caring for children in a domestic environment.
On deciding to return to work in 2013, I decided I wanted to provide care for children of all ages. Offering them a welcoming and caring home from home setting, and also a flexible service for their parents.
My home is a clean and child orientated environment. I have a variety of toys and books to entertain and aid development. I’m also close to local amenities such as, Tooting common, playgrounds, playgroups & library, but I also like to venture out to the soft play centres, city farm & museums .
I have always enjoyed working with children and gain personal gratification from watching them grow and learn, I’m happy to be able to provide care from a home setting, as I have done for my own.
Founding
Sunny Rayz
In 2017 I decided to become a Limited company. Sunny Ray was the name of my last charge, before becoming a mother. I absolutely adored her.
With permission from her parents I decided to give the name to the company, as I believe the name has two meanings for me.
Not only does it represent my care and adoration for her, but any child I am trusted to care for and all children should be seen as rays of sunshine.
My Team
The setting operates with assistants and childminders in order to ensure that the children still receive a good level of quality care. The team have not been selected purely for qualifications, but also for their experience and observation by myself and others for their natural care and protection of children.
All team members are DBS checked and registered by OFSTED

Flexible hours
We provide 10 hour days which helps working parents. We also have the option of additional hours, if you ever need that little bit of extra time.
Parent Interaction
We currently use Babydays. A system available that allows the parents of the children you care for the ability to login to your system and securely view areas of their child's Early Years Development.

Social Outings
It's important that children learn how to interact within different environments. We attend playgroups, explore parks and have mini trips. Parents will always be notified well in advance.
